Open Blog Thread

In the spirit of taking more risk per square inch of blogging space than I expect of my students, here's an open topic forum for people to suggest blogging topics for me to cover in this blog. I retain first and last right of refusal to cover a topic, but I'll only invoke that if I think the topic is outside the realms of taste, or I can't safely research it at work on a filtered university web account.
